What this job involved

This home is in our Iredell and Rowan County service area, inside the 30 miles around Mt Ulla. It has a pool and a sunroom addition. The job was a full shingle roof replacement. Once the old roof came off, we replaced sections of the decking. The photo shows new decking going on over the sunroom addition. With solid wood in place, we installed a brown architectural shingle roof from Owens Corning across the house. We are not sharing the street, the price or the size of the roof. Why the decking matters on a new roof

Decking is the wood your shingles are nailed to. You cannot see it from the yard. You only learn what shape it is in when the old shingles come off.
